About Jason Price – Founder of Plaid Pig PR

Prior to launching Plaid Pig PR I spent over 20 years working in Management Consulting both in the US and internationally. While I enjoyed this career in many ways; I was constantly drawn towards my passion – food and wine. Every trip I took to a new city around the globe led me to places to eat, markets to discover and beverages to imbibe.

To pursue this passion further, I left consulting and became a food writer publishing dozens of stories in both print and digital media for clients such as Seattle WeeklyEater SeattleModern Farmer and the Huffington Post as well as on

I was also fortunate to have been able to interview many of the top chefs in Seattle while writing their life stories and about their love of food and meat. Not only was this interesting and fun, it also helped me develop relationships throughout the culinary world in Seattle and beyond both in the kitchen and with fellow food writers and editors.

Now, I’m bringing together my passion for partnering with clients to develop business solutions along with my love of food, drink and culture. Plaid Pig PR is about working with the people who dedicate their lives to seeing people eat, drink and be merry.
